I love her smile.
I uploaded a color version of this photo as well.
The wife always prefers the color version. Very rarely does she like black and white. Me on the other hand... I'm more appreciative of an artistic b&w than a saturated color version.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactVery cute and also beautiful little princess. Like the shot from above as the parents see her, and this is a great moment to catch for every photographer I believe.
But there are some technical impreciseness, as one might see the hair is either blackened out, or the details removed, which is very unpleasant and distracting to the eye. The picture would greatly benefit from better exposure settings on the top od the head.
The subtle distraction created by the lion could be overcome by adding some a center spot effect, which lighten the face and darken the distracting lion.
The focus is great and spot on, DOF good.
IMHO the BW version of this picture is better <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
