Artist's Comments

one of my first photos I took with my first camera, a Canon A20, back in May 2002. It had just rained and I wanted to try out the macro features of the camera. This is the result. I found it recently when looking through my archives.

Everything is out of focus besides one of the flowers, I love that effect. Nice shot.

the bits of yellow look really nice
is that hard to do? i mean is it hard to eliminate all the color 'cept for that which is on one object?

not at all. i did it in a simple program, FotoCanvas, which comes with AcdSee. Normally I would use Corel Photopaint for the masking. :)

just the masking tools in the photopaint program. also some plugins for color effects. *isacg uses a lot of those plugins.

Wow, that's really beautiful! And that was your early work? You must be a real natural born talent. Beautiful work as always. And another fav to add to my beautiful collection of Micah originals. LOL
