This is my cousin, André, eating a watermelon during a family reunion we had at my grandparent's farm back in Brazil. I wanted to draw out the contrast of the red in the photo, especially in the watermelon. The reflection on the Volkswagen Beetle also added to the overall composition of the photo.
This is a great shot. I love how he has chosen a quiet corner to enjoy his watermelon and he doesn't seem too pleased about you disturbung his piece Lovely capture of the moment and nice work with the selective colouring.
