this was taken a year ago when I was returning from Wisconsin to Michigan. I stopped at a small convenience store and as I got out of the car, I spotted this robin resting in a tree right beside the car. We had just had a blizard so I figured he must have been waiting for the wind to die down a bit.
This is definitely one of my favorite winter shots. View it fullsize to appreciate the beauty of the moment.
