One of my favorite photos taken during my honeymoon, this photo brings back great memories of a long walk on the beach at sunset, with a storm looming over the sea and the sun setting over the land in the opposite direction. We didn't have an umbrella and were so far away from any shelter that all we could do is wait and keep walking. Some teens were fishing on the reef about 50 yards from the beach, watching the lines and keeping an eye on the storm. After a few cracks of lightning they realized time was now against them as the storm began its approach to landfall. I saw them gathering their gear and took this shot as they were heading to the end of the reef. A few minutes later the downpour began, but by then I'd stowed the camera safely away in a plastic bag.

What a great memory shot... everytime you see this you'll remember the day and the storm.
Colours are gorgeous, of course, and I am very jealous of your location... the beauty never stops! Awesome composition and framing make this a wall hanger for sure!

Any PS work done to it?

The photo came out a bit blueish so I fixed the colors to make the waves look white. Other than that, just framing and title work.

love it.. the mood created by the dark stormy sky, and the kids quickly heading back, is what makes the shot.

It's hard for me to express my views on this. I've been sat here thinking what it feels like to me. All I can think of is freedom, open spaces and other cultures and how they live.
Yet, it shows one thing. Run from something bigger and more dangerous than you.

Great work as always. ;)
