One of the most beautiful parks I've ever visited was Yosemite National Park in California. Truly a stunning place. The geological formations made by glaciers is amazing. If you ever have the chance to go there, do not miss it! Make sure you take your camera and plenty of memory cards (or film!) !
The scenery is so awe-inspiring that it seems straight out of a fantasy film such as Lord of the Rings. Almost surreal.
Truly an impressive shot. You captured the mountains in the background at the perfect time... they seem almost lost in a mist, yet the power of them still looms in the backdrop. The framing with the green grass in the foreground is also a nice touch... lends this image some tension, with the peacefullness of the field and then the mysteriousness and foreboding of the mountains.
This makes me want to visit Yosemite!
thanks kim! the misty look of the mountains in the background was really a stroke of luck. you should visit there sometime... just like I should visit BC.

Yosemite is one of the most amazing places I've ever been in my life. I wish I had a digital camera when I went there. I'd love to go back someday. Anyway, you captured this one well here. Great warm tones. I only wish it was a bit sharper.
