An interesting concept that could liven up any product and bring a smile to a consumer. I would definitely love to see how creative some marketing specialists could get with making them.

Which one do you prefer? I personally think the umbrella one looks best although I like the colors on the green barcode with a worker pulling out a strand.

i like the bed, house and frying pan best. they're a really cute idea, would make shop workers' lives that little bit more exciting!

Definitely the umbrella one. :D I like the noodles one too, but it may not be very apparent to the non-Asians.

I had to do some barcodes for a retail artwork I've been doing today, wish I'd seen this before then, I'd have had much more fun designing things if I did :)

It could just be because I'm lazy, but... good work!

Thanks a million!

Everything's going RFID though in the near future. Sadly enough because, as evidenced above, bar codes can look a lot more interesting.

RFIDs will make this obsolete. :)

i'd go with the umbrella. it looks clean, but it's still humorous. i have to say the leg one is pretty sweet as well.
the dinner plate one is a little confusing -- it resembles an iPod rotated 90 degrees. maybe add a fork and knife?
