INTRODUCING C-91
My name is Silvia and I'm a Foreign Languages student from Italy. I'm better known as C-91, the nickname I chose when I first joined DeviantArt in 2007. Back then, I was hanging out in forums and trying to find my way into art by making customization images; everybody pictured this place as "the home of big artists": since I wasn't really one, I didn't feel entitled to be part of it at all.
Eventually, I created my profile because other people I knew were doing the same and...here I am!
After 5-years of inactivity, in 2012 I was giving my account a second chance when I stumbled upon the obscure art medium which is now part of my life: Fractal Art.
I started creating fractals just for fun and I had no clue how big their impact would have been on me. Not only did they offer me an everyday challenge to strive to better myself, but they also made me get in touch with lots and lots of amazing people who still help me by making their knowledge on fractals available to everybody.
I'm so happy I've been able to artistically grow with them and I hope our journey will continue further. Sharing is the key of a healthy community, I believe DeviantArt is the best place to do it.
If I'm here now it's also thanks to you, and I'm very grateful for this recognition. It may seem common to say, but it does mean a lot to me.

The kids wouldn't go near it.
One more look at the faces of terror...
And now the video of their reaction when I gave them an impromptu up-close look.
Here's what a live one looks like:

This is especially relevant with the social protests in Turkey and Brazil.
Feeling stressed? You need a Therapy Llama
Every few months, Marisco and N.H Flight of the Eagle – showered, dressed up and accompanied by Niki Kuklenski – are welcome guests as they take a tour of the nursing home, stopping at each bed to kiss the patients or have a hug. Marisco and N.H are trained therapists, and they are llamas.
“It’s a treat, watching the llamas walk down the hallway,” says Jack Houston, one of the residents. “It’s amazing that there’s another life out there.” For some, it’s the most cuddling they receive in their time at the center; for others, it’s
