i just want a button to remove "ALL" messages.

=< not just the "remove all shown"

if you have like...28,313 messages for example, it's gonna be a pain to clear all.

Noooooo!!! The old checkbox style, because I can only remove journals with the 'x' box which means my message centre can't be cleared out! Can't we have a choice in settings?

There is a 'delete all' button with the little x method as well right? That one is certainly the best.
